CanAm Uranium Corp. (OTCBB: CAUI.OB), is a Nevada incorporated junior resource company with a corporate objective focused on the strategic acquisition and development of exploration properties in well-known prolific mining areas, especially known for Uranium, of Canada, Southern Africa, Australia and the United States. CanAm Uranium Corp. has interest in over 159,000 acres of claims collectively within the Saskatchewan Athabasca Basin, Ontario and British Columbia, across Canada in some of the most prolific mining areas for Uranium in North America.
CanAm Uranium Corp has an option to acquire 100% interest in the Wheeler-Beckett property within the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. The Wheeler-Beckett property consists of 11 contiguous claims comprising approximately 126,000 acres (51,000 ha) on the eastern margin of the basin (see location map) with similar mineralization styles as found at the McArthur River mine of Cameco/Cogema. The claims are located approximately 24 miles from the McArthur River mine (see distance map), the largest, high-grade uranium mine in the world (reserves of 389.1 million tonnes grading 24.3% U3O8 and producing 18.7 million pounds of uranium per year). Adjacent to the property is the JNR Resources claims, Way Lake and Moore Lake, both having positive Uranium showings.
Highlights:
• 6 km long northeast conductive zone: potentially a graphitic horizon analogous with the nearby Hook Lake Showing with >40% U3O8 or the Eagle Point Uranium deposit • prominent derivative gravity anomaly (high values) which could be related to the unconformity. • Unusual arsenic anomaly at northwest property boundary at edge of basin

CanAm Uranium has an option on a major landholding in the Bancroft region, with its option on 8 uranium properties, on which it may earn 80% interest. The properties in total are comprised of 37 mineral claims containing 247 claim units, and the claims cover a total of approximately 9,765 acres (3,952 hectares), and are located 8-25 miles to the east of the town of Bancroft. Bancroft was well known for its uranium, producing a total of 14,862,653 lbs U3O8 between 1956 and 1982. To review the claims and projects, go to the Ontario Projects.
CanAm Uranium Corp also has an option to acquire a 100% interest in the OK Lake Claims in British Columbia accumulating to 1036.89 acres.
About Uranium
Uranium is used primarily as an energy source for nuclear fission reactors -- a safe, efficient, and emission-free alternative to fossil fuels. The market cycle for uranium had been largely depressed since 1981, but has recently experienced a sharp increase due to macroeconomic factors. An estimated supply shortfall of 80 million pounds per year, for several coming years, is forecast by measuring current annual reactor demand and current annual mine production.
